Clare O'Donoghue - Lighting Designer
Lighting design credits for Glyndebourne Touring Opera include
‘The Bartered Bride’, ‘Don Giovanni’ and ‘The Marriage of
Figaro’, and for Glyndebourne Festival Opera the relight of ‘The
Bartered Bride’. For the Royal Opera House, revivals include
‘Giselle’ at Covent Garden, ‘La Traviata’ in Sardinia and ‘Simon
Boccanegra’ in Lisbon. Clare travelled to Japan and the USA as
associate lighting designer on the Royal National Theatre
production of Matthew Bournes’ ‘Play without Words’ and for
Paddock Productions lit ‘The Young Visiters’. Most recently
Clare relit ‘Der Rosenkavalier’ for Scottish Opera and is
currently associate lighting designer on ‘Little Shop of Horrors’
at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
